TWS - history and heritage

The Waveguide Solution’s microwave expertise dates back to the middle of the last century with great names like Gabriel Microwave and Mid Century. These companies evolved into Quasar Microwave Technology who were themselves bought by Andrew. The Waveguide Solution is the management buyout of Quasar which includes the IP from Mid Century and Gabriel as well as Quasar. Today, The Waveguide Solution employs many of the experienced workforce from Quasar.

TWS - the future

The Waveguide Solution is located in a new purpose built factory in the Heathfield area of Newton Abbot. This large, modern unit provides a centre of excellence for waveguide manufacture. The site also has dedicated microwave testing facilities, clean assembly and mechanical inspection areas. This new facility enables a fast, consistent standard of production, with accurate quality control and optimal manufacturing flow.

We have the capacity to manufacture a wide variety of waveguide applications for ship, aircraft, satellite radar and communication systems.
